The information you provide us directly is used to gauge regional interest for our events both current and future. We also use this data to process and maintain your membership payments. When you register for a Pitfall event through we forward your name and member ID number to the facility that will be hosting your event. This information is used to check you in and record your score.

The information we collect from you:

We collect data about your performances and scores received during our events. This is used to keep a detailed list of your athletic statistics that other competitors can use to gauge their performance against yours. This information is searchable by any member on the site along with your name and since we have a free membership level that information is effectively public information.

Analytics information:

We may directly collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools and services, to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your browser or mobile device, including the pages you visit and other information that assists us in improving the Service. We collect and use this analytics information in aggregate form such that it cannot reasonably be manipulated to identify any particular individual user.

Commercial Marketing:

We use your e-mail address to communicate information to your regarding upcoming events and important dates, or changes to the rules.

Sharing of Your Information:

We will never sell or rent your information to a third party. Information may be given to a third party for the purpose of providing a service to you. Some major third parties may also gain access to your information while doing business with us, such as Google, Paypal as well as website hosting and development services.

In the event of change of control:

In the event that the owners choose to sell/divest/transfer the company, or portions of the company, and its stored user data may be part of that sale/divestiture/transfer. This includes personal information such as name/address/email, as well as any stored payment methods and user content you have uploaded to the site.

When we may be required to share your information:

If Pitfall Obstacle League is served a subpoena we will disclose necessary to comply with the law. We will also use personal data if necessary to enforce our terms of use or protect the rights and property or safety of Pitfall Obstacle League Inc. our users, or our affiliates.

Pitfall Obstacle League stores your data on reputable third party hosting databases. This information may be transferred between services from time to time and may move across countries. Pitfall Obstacle League cares about your personal data and uses commercially reasonable measures to safeguard it. We do work with third parties to host the data and rely on them to prevent unauthorized access to their servers.

If any information under our control is compromised we will take reasonable measures to determine the extent of the compromise and notify all those affected. We will also take any other necessary steps in accordance with laws and legal guidelines.

Children’s Privacy:

Pitfall Obstacle League does not knowingly solicit or collect information from anyone under the age of 18. All minors who wish to compete in the league are expected to have a parent or legal guardian manage their information and online presence.
